Miro for Education

Sissejuhatus

Tallinna Tehnikaülikooli tudengitel ja õppejõududel on võimalik kasutada Miro for Education litsentsi – tasuta ligipääsu populaarsele koostöö- ja visuaalse mõtlemise platvormile.

Miro Education Plan on mõeldud õppeotstarbeks ja muutub kättesaadavaks, kui registreerud oma TalTechi Uni-ID-ga (@taltech.ee e-posti aadressiga).
See võimaldab:

• luua ja jagada piiramatus mahus tahvleid,

• kasutada täiustatud koostööfunktsioone,

• hallata grupi- ja projektitöid visuaalselt ja tõhusalt.

Juhend tudengile

Samm 1: Konto loomine

1. Ava: Whiteboard for online education | Miro

2. Klõpsa "Sign up free" või "Get started".

3. Registreeru, kasutades oma TalTechi e-posti aadressi (@taltech.ee).

Samm 2: Education Plan taotlemine

• Pärast konto loomist külasta: Whiteboard for online education | Miro ja klõpsa "Apply for Education Plan".

• Täida avaldus:

  • Educational Email: @taltech.ee

  • Where do you study:

  • Undergraduate – Bakalauruseõpe

  • Graduate – Magistriõpe ja doktorantuur

  • Educational institution: Tallinn University of Technology

Samm 3: Kinnituse ootamine

• Tavaliselt saadetakse kinnitusteade 1–3 tööpäeva jooksul.

• Kui taotlus on heaks kiidetud, muutub sinu konto automaatselt Education Plan kontoks.

Introduction

Students and faculty members at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) are eligible to use the Miro for Education license – free access to a popular platform for visual thinking and collaboration.

The Miro Education Plan is intended for academic use and becomes available once you register with your TalTech Uni-ID (your @taltech.ee email address).
It allows you to:

• Create and share an unlimited number of whiteboards

• Use advanced collaboration features

• Manage group and project work visually and effectively

Student Guide

Step 1: Create an Account

1. Go to: Whiteboard for online education | Miro

2. Click "Sign up free" or "Get started"

3. Sign up using your TalTech email address (@taltech.ee)

Step 2: Apply for the Education Plan

• After creating your account, visit Whiteboard for online education | Miro again and click "Apply for Education Plan"

Fill out the application:

• Educational Email: your @taltech.ee address

• Where do you study:

  • Undergraduate – for Bachelor's studies

  • Graduate – for Master's or PHD

• Educational Institution: Tallinn University of Technology

Step 3: Wait for Confirmation

• Approval usually takes 1–3 business days

• Once approved, your account will automatically be upgraded to the Education Plan.

Faculty Guide

Step 2: Apply for the Education Plan

• Visit Whiteboard for online education | Miro and click "Apply for Education Plan"

• Application processing typically takes 1–3 business days

• Once approved, your account will be upgraded to the Education Plan.
