Figma for Education

Sissejuhatus

Tallinna Tehnikaülikooli tudengitel ja õppejõududel on võimalik kasutada Figma for Education litsentsi – tasuta juurdepääsu professionaalsetele disainivahenditele Figma keskkonnas.

Taotledes litsentsi oma TalTech Uni-ID-ga (@taltech.ee e-posti aadressiga), saad ligipääsu Education Plan'ile, mis võimaldab:

  • luua piiramatu arv projekte

  • kasutada Figma Pro ja FigJam Pro tööriistu,

  • teha koostööd teiste üliõpilaste või meeskonnaga

  • hallata isiklikke või tiimipõhiseid tööruume

Samm 1: Konto loomine

  1. Ava: Figma for Education | Free Tools for the Classroom

  2. Klõpsa "Get started for free"

  1. Registreeru või logi sisse, kasutades oma TalTech Uni-ID’d (@taltech.ee)

  2. Figma saadab kinnituskirja. Ava postkast ja klõpsa kinnitamise lingile (kui kirja ei saabu, kontrolli Junk/Spam kausta)

Samm 2: Education Plan taotlemine

  • Peale kinnitamist, ava: https://www.figma.com/education/apply

  • Täida taotlusvorm:

    • Institution type: Higher Ed

    • School name: Tallinn University of Technology

    • Type: Student

    • Graduation date: Arvatav lõpetamise kuupäev (kuu täpsusega)

  • Esita avaldus

Samm 3: Kinnituse ootamine

  • Kinnitamisprotsess võtab tavaliselt 1–5 tööpäeva

  • Kui litsents on kinnitatud, saadetakse sulle e-kiri

  • Seejärel aktiveeruvad Figma Pro ja FigJam Pro funktsioonid automaatselt

Samm 3: Kinnituse ootamine

  • Tavaliselt kinnitatakse taotlus 1–5 tööpäeva jooksul

  • Pärast kinnitamist saad ligipääsu:

    • Figma Pro tööriistadele (disainisüsteemid, versioonihaldus, tiimiteegid)

    • FigJam Pro tööriistadele (whiteboard koosolekud, visuaalne planeerimine)

    • Võimalus luua Education Team tööruume ja jagada neid tudengitega

Introduction

Students and faculty members at Tallinn University of Technology (TalTech) are eligible to use Figma for Education – a free license that provides access to professional design and collaboration tools in Figma.

By applying with a TalTech Uni-ID (@taltech.ee email address), you can unlock the Education Plan, which allows you to:

  • Create unlimited projects

  • Access premium Figma features

  • Collaborate with classmates, project teams, or research groups

  • Build individual or team-based design workspaces

Student Guide

Step 1: Create a Figma Account

  1. Visit Figma for Education | Free Tools for the Classroom

  2. Click "Get started for free"

  1. Sign up or log in using your TalTech Uni-ID email (@taltech.ee)

  2. Figma will send you a verification email. Open your inbox and click the confirmation link (check your Junk/Spam folder if you don't see it)

Step 2: Apply for Education Plan

  • After verifying, go to https://www.figma.com/education/apply.

  • Fill out the form:

    • Institution type: Higher Ed

    • School name: Tallinn University of Technology

    • Type: Student

    • Graduation date: Graduation date with month precision

  • Submit the application.

Step 3: Wait for Approval

  • It typically takes 1–5 business days to receive approval

  • You will be notified via email when your Education Plan is activated

  • After approval, you’ll have access to both Figma Pro and FigJam Pro features

  • Approval typically takes 1–5 business days

  • After approval, you’ll get access to:

    • Figma Pro (unlimited version history, team libraries, design system management)

    • FigJam Pro (advanced whiteboarding features)

    • Free creation of Education Teams where you can manage projects with students
