Arvutivõrk EST

Andme- ja kõneside teenus võimaldab juurdepääsu kohalikule arvutivõrgule (LAN). See on kõikide teiste teenuste eelduseks.

Ülikoolile pakub internetiühendust EENet, mistõttu on ülikooli võrgus keelatud igasugune äritegevus.

Computer network ENG

The data and voice network service provides access to a local computer network (LAN). This is a prerequisite for all other services.

The internet connection for the university is provided by EENet, which is why any business activity is prohibited on the university network.

Wifi EST

Ülikoolis levivad järgmised WIFI võrgud:

• Eduroam

Eduroam kirjeldus EST

Eduroam, ehk Education Roaming (rändlus akadeemilistes võrkudes), on projekt, mille eesmärk on pakkuda teadlastele ja tudengitele vaba internetiühendust, olenemata nende asukohast. Eduroam on ülemaailmne föderatsioon, mis võimaldab liikmesasutuste kasutajatele ligipääsu võrgule.

See tähendab, et ka välismaal viibides saab eduroami võrku kasutada ilma arvuti seadistusi muutmata. Kõik eduroami ligipääsupunktid kasutavad ühist võrgunime (SSID: eduroam), mis teeb sülearvuti seadistamise oluliselt lihtsamaks.

Eestis asuvad eduroami ligipääsupunktid on leitavad kaardilt: www.eduroam.ee

Ülemaailmselt on eduroami ligipääsupunktide info saadaval kaardilt: http://www.eduroam.org , klikkides huvipakkuval piirkonnal või riigil.

Eduroam description ENG

Eduroam, short for Education Roaming, is a project aimed at providing researchers and students with free internet access, regardless of location. Eduroam is a global federation that offers network connectivity to users of all member institutions.

This means that while abroad, you can use the Eduroam network without changing any settings on your computer. All Eduroam access points share a common network identifier (SSID: eduroam), making it significantly easier to configure a user's laptop.

Eduroam access points in Estonia can be found on the map at: www.eduroam.ee

For the rest of the world, information can be found on the map at http://www.eduroam.org by clicking on the desired region and country.

Requirements

Access requires a Uni-ID account.

Eduroam iPhone EST

Apple seadmetel ei pea midagi alla laadima. Ennem tuleb kindlaks teha, et ühtegi profiili pole jäänud eelnevatest kordadest.

1. Tuleb WI-FI alt vajutada "Eduroam" peale

2. Seejärel panna oma UNI-ID andmed. KINDLASTI UNI-ID LÕPPU "@taltech.ee"

3. Sertifikaati ei pea valima

4. Peale seda ühendab telefon ennast Eduroam võrku.

Eduroam iPhone ENG

Apple devices do not require any downloads. First you have to make sure you don't have any old profiles installed.

1. First under WI-FI select "Eduroam"

2. Then insert your UNI-ID login. BE SURE TO ADD "@taltech.ee” TO THE END OF THE USERNAME

3. Certificate should stay default

4. After that the phone will connect to the Eduroam network.

Telefoni seadistamine

Google Play Store'st  tuleb „geteduroam“ rakenduse installida.  

Seda avades valite Tallinna Tehnikaülikool

Siis sisestada oma UNI-ID andmed (Username taga peab kindlasti olema @taltech.ee lõpuga)

Connect to network

Seejärel ühendatakse Eduroam wifi automaatselt.

Setting up your phone

The "geteduroam" app must be installed from the Google Play Store

When you open it, select Tallinna Tehnikaülikool

Then your UNI-ID user and password (@taltech.ee has to be in the username as well)

Connect to network

After that Eduroam wifi will then be connected automatically.

Eduroam Linux EST

Linuxiga tuleb avada WIFI sätted ja ülesse otsida "Eduroam" ühendus ja valida järgmised sätted:

• Authentication peab olema EAP(PEAP)

• Domeen: intra.ttu.ee

• Linnukene "No CA certificate is required" ees

• Siis sisestada oma UNI-ID andmed (Username taga peab kindlasti olema @taltech.ee lõpuga)

Kui need tehtud saate vajutada Connect ja ühendab ära.

Eduroam Linux ENG

With Linux you have to open WIFI settings and select connection to "Eduroam" and select the following settings

• Authentication must be EAP(PEAP)

• Domain: intra.ttu.ee

• Checked box in front of "No CA certificate is required"

• Then your UNI-ID user and password (@taltech.ee has to be in the username as well)

If those are done, then click on Connect and it will connect to the Eduroam Wifi.

Eduroam MacOS EST

Ühenduse seadistamine

• Eduroam ühenduse seadistamise tööriista allalaadimiseks avage internetilehekülg https://www.geteduroam.app/

• Laadige alla tarkvara windowsi jaoks.

• Seda avades otsige Tallinna Tehnikaülikool

• Siis sisestada oma UNI-ID andmed (Username taga peab kindlasti olema @taltech.ee lõpuga)

• Connect to network

• Kui Te olite installerimise ajal ühendatud mõne teise WIFI võrguga, siis võite nüüd selle lahti ühendada ning valida raadiovõrgu „eduroam“

• Security type: WPA2-enterprise

• Encryption type: AES

• Authentication method: Microsoft:protected EAP (PEAP), secured password MSCHAP v2

• When you open it, search Tallinna Tehnikaülikool

• Then your UNI-ID user and password (@taltech.ee has to be in the username as well)

• Connect to network

If you were connected to another WIFI network during the installation, you can now disconnect it and select "eduroam" for the wireless network.
