2.11. Own contribution and covering the own contribution of projects


The funds needed to cover the necessary own contribution of projects must be obtained by the project manager from the budget of his research group, department or school before applying for the project:

  • The university does not have a central fund to cover own contribution.
  • Own contributions must not be covered from the funds of other projects, incl. research grants.

Own contribution can be transferred to the project financing source based on the request of the project manager approved by the head of the structural unit (submitted by e-mail) either:

  • at the beginning of the project (the best solution in terms of the project cash flow)
  • after approval of each interim report
  • at the end of the project before closing the source.

The rate or amount of own contribution shall be indicated in the project contract or decision.
