Research group report forms can be viewed and edited by heads of the research groups and administrators of the departments. 

The research group's annual report consists of four major chapters and corresponding subsections.  

Results and impact

The outstanding R&D results of the group in the last year at the international level in Estonian and English, respectively. Substantive results should be presented, not a list of articles.  

  • Social influence, in Estonian

A description of how the research group's R&D is related to current (also likely in the future) problems in society. What options could you offer to solve these problems (in Estonian and English, respectively). Please give examples.

A window opens where you can enter long texts. The number of characters in the field is not limited. To make the text more understandable, it is possible to design the text appropriately - put line breaks, make lists and numbered text. Appropriately formatted text can also be copied from Word in such a way that the formatting is preserved.  

 

  1. Projects and publications  

  • Most important publications. The most important articles published by the group in the last three years (max 5, in order of importance). Records can only be selected from extracts available on the ETIS public portal. The list of publications can be opened by selecting the search field. A suitable record can be searched for by entering text in the field, after which records that contain the input text will be automatically displayed. You can perform a search by title, author, year of publication, or department. The ETIS list of publications is updated daily.  

  • Major research projects. The most important projects/research contracts in the last three years should be listed (maximum 5, in order of importance). Records can only be selected from extracts available on the ETIS public portal. The list of projects can be opened by selecting the search field. A suitable record can be searched for by entering text in the field, after which records that contain the input text will be automatically displayed. You can perform a search by project number, project name, name of PI or department. The ETIS list of projects is updated daily. 

  

  1. Entrepreneurial cooperation 

Current applications in business, economy, society. Information concerning the group’s applied R&D is provided. Description and references to projects, contracts, news, etc. should be indicated.  

  • R&D&I competences of the research group for business cooperation. Technical or other types of competencies that the research group can offer to enterprises should be listed briefly and clearly, including created/under development products, technologies, databases, etc.  

  • Purpose of business cooperation. Commercialization of the research group's invention or joining a Horizon consortium, increasing the volume of laboratory services, etc. In addition, you can indicate, for example, the minimum indicative possible volume of the R&D contract, the business sector or a possible company/economic entity in which cooperation potential is seen. The minimum indicative possible volume of the R&D contract, the business sector or the company/economic entity in which a potential opportunity for cooperation is seen could also be added.  

  

  1. Other information 

R&D infrastructure. Assessment of the R&D infrastructure in use by the group (including collections and databases), sufficiency and condition (up-to date, outdated, etc.).  

  • Estonian cooperation partners. Three most important Estonian cooperation partners of the group (in the case of a university or other larger institution, the level of the substructure should also be indicated - research group/department, etc.).  

  • Cooperation partners from foreign countries. The group's three most important foreign cooperation partners (in the case of a university or other larger institution, the substructure level should also be indicated - research group/department, etc.).  

  • R&D popularization. Activities related to R&D popularization of the group members.  

  • Estonian honours & awards. Important recognitions of the members of the group at the national level in the past year (name of the group member, recognition).  

  • International honours & awards. Internationally important recognitions of group members in the last year (name of the group member, recognition).  

  • Scientific organizational activity. Participation of group members in the work of important R&D-related international organizations in the last year (name, name of the organization, activity).  

  • Consulting activity. Participation of group members in business consulting related to R&D activities (e.g. participation in advisory bodies, management bodies, etc.); counselling on socially important topics (name of member, related company/organization, activity).
