When signing a proposal, keep in mind that

- project proposals funded by the European Commission, e.g. under the Horizon programme, shall be submitted via the Funding and Tenders Portal.  The PIC code of the university (in the case of the Erasmus programme the Erasmus code) is required, the signature of the authorised representative of the university is not required.  In any case, no later than 14 days before the deadline for submitting the proposal to the funder, the proposal data shall be submitted on project proposal formThe head of the applicant’s structural unit or the college director is notified of the submission of a proposal in order to prevent later problems and will be asked for their approval before registering the project.

Access is necessary to ensure that, after the decision has been received, the Research Administration Office receives the necessary documents - the grades, the proposal with the appendices, etc. - without having to bother the researcher.

If the amount of funding requested under the proposal up to 100,000 euros, the head of the department or the head of the structural unit has the right to approve the proposal. If the amount of funding requested under the proposal is higher, the proposal shall be approved in accordance with the rights granted to vice-rectors or authorised persons.

 - if you submit a project proposal for structural funding via SFOS (Structural Funds Operating System), the signatory must be added as a contact person and a link to the submitted proposal must be sent to the signatory.

- if you submit a project proposal funded by the Environmental Investment Centre (EIC) via KIKAS (the application environment of the EIC), you must always send an e-mail to the signatory, because no automatic notifications are sent from KIKAS.

- submit grant proposals and any other documents relating thereto;

- represent Tallinn University of Technology in all matters concerning the processing of proposals and the implementation of projects included in the proposals;

- sign contracts, reports and payment requests and provide explanations;

- perform the LEAR role in the European Commission’s project database.
