Research Professional is an online extensive database of research funding opportunities and a source of international research policy and practice news from over 30 countries around the world.
The database can be used without login in TalTEch internal network. In order to benefit from specific features like saving personified searches, bookmarking, setting the alerts etc is necessary to have a user account.
The instructions for the creation of a user account and linking it with the UNI-ID in Research Professional database:
1. Open https://www.researchprofessional.com/ in a web browser.
2. When you enter the website from outside of the university network, please skip this step and go to step 3.
When you enter the website from the university network, click Log in icon top right.
3. Then choose TalTech (unless it is already displayed) in the field under the text With your University account. Click Log in icon under the field.
4. In the next window insert your UNI-ID user name (kasutajanimi) and password (parool). Please use the short username not the full email address.
5. In the next window – Consent about releasing personal information – click Yes, continue
6. In the next window click Create new account.
7. In the final window insert your first name, last name, email address and click Create account.
