11.-12. augustil toimus taas kord Paides arvamusfestival. Instituut oli festivalil esindatud, Aive Pevkur juhtis poliitikaalal arutelu poliitkultuurist. Arutelu viidi läbi koostöös ühinguga Korruptsioonivaba Eesti. Debatis kasutati TalTechis tudengite võistkondade poolt juba testitud Ethics Bowl formaati. Osalejad, Andrei Korobeinik, Irja Lutsar, Marina Kaljurand, Maris Lauri ja Tõnis Lukas arutlesid selle üle, millest peaks poliitiliste otsuste tegemisel lähtuma ja mis mõjutab poliitikute usaldusväärsust. Osalejate tunnistusel oli sellisel viisil arutlemine nende jaoks esmakordne, samas huvitav kogemus.
On 11-12 August, an opinion festival was once again held in Paide. The department was represented at the festival, with Aive Pevkur moderating a discussion on political culture. The debate was held in cooperation with the association Corruption-free Estonia.The debate used the Ethics Bowl format, which has already been tested by student teams at TalTech. The participants, Andrei Korobeinik, Irja Lutsar, Marina Kaljurand, Maris Lauri and Tõnis Lukas discussed what should be the basis for political decision-making and what influences the credibility of politicians. The participants said that it was their first time discussing issues in this way, but it was also an interesting experience.
