Submitting study plan

An individual study plan means a list of the courses declared by the student for the upcoming semester, which he or she undertakes to study. You can start composing you study plan at the first day of the semester until the end of the submission. The deadlines for submitting a semester study plan you can see in the academic calendar. Submission date are also displayed at your study plan:


Where can I submit my study plan?

  1. Go to menu My study information > MY STUDY PLAN.

Creating a study plan

  1. Select “Create study plan“:

Declaring courses as a continuing education student via OPEN UNIVERSITY

  1. Go to menu My study information > MY STUDY PLAN.
  2. At the top of the opened page, click on "My declarations as continuing education student".
  3. If you agree to the terms of participation in continuing education, you have continued and confirmed that you want to conclude the contract, you can start submitting a study plan.
  4. Choose courses and submit a study plan in accordance with the guidelines described below.

  1. You can add courses to your study plan by
    • searching them by
      • course code
      • course title
      • lecturer name
    • generating according to the standard study plan and searching by the course-teacher pairs


Searching for courses

  1. Type into first field the name or the code of the course, then select the type of search criteria:
  2. Click “Search“. A list of courses matching search criteria will be listed below:
  3. Click “Add“ to add the course to your study plan. Declare a course for a teacher whose name is listed in your group timetable. Sometimes one course can be read by several lecturers (e.g. different languages), and therefore it is important to choose the right lecturer. If you have any questions, please contact your dean's office.

  4. If the course were not found, then the course-teacher pair is not added in to the ÕIS.You can choose for study plan only these courses which is with teacher.

  5. You will see additional information added to the course-teacher pair when you click "i":


  6. If you have added a course to your study plan, you will see the language of instruction:

  7. To remove a course from your study plan, click on "Remove".


Generating courses according to the standard study plan and searching courses by the course-teacher pairs

  1. To submit a study plan by generating according to the standard study plan click “Generate according to the standard study plan”:
  2. Choose a suitable standard study plan semester from drop-down menu:
  3. All course-teacher pairs by chosen semester will be found. Add courses to your study plan by clicking on "Add". Choose the right lecturer! Several lecturers may read the same course:
  4. You can add more courses to your standard study plan (e.g. free choice courses) by clicking “Search by course-teacher pair:

Submitting your study plan

  1. When your study plan is completed then click “Save and SUBMIT”:
  2. It is possible to withdraw and change the submitted study plan until the deadline. You can make changes to it and submit again as many times as you like until the submission date. To withdraw the study plan click on “RETRACT“:
  3. After you have made changes, click “Save and SUBMIT”:
  4. Make sure you have submitted your study plan:
