Balti-Saksa projekt innustab noori teadlasi avaldama jätkusuutliku ümberkujundamise teemalisi publikatsioone

Junior Researcher LAB on Digital and Sustainable Transformation projekt toob kokku tuntud Saksa ja Eesti institutsioonid ning teadlased, et arutada noorte teadlastega (doktorandid, nooremteadurid ja järeldoktorandid) tuleviku teadusuuringute ja vahetusvõimaluste üle. Kahe riigi vahelise arutelu eesmärk on ühiselt avaldada raamat.

Projekti koordinaatorid, Wolfgang Gerstlberger ja Gunnar Prause, rõhutasid: "Kestev säästev ümberkujundamine muudab majandust ja on seotud mitmete digitaalsete ja säästvate väljakutsetega. Noorte teadlaste interdistsiplinaarse ja rahvusvahelise koostöö edendamiseks on projekti eesmärk uurida väljakutseid ja sellega seotud teemasid nii kontseptuaalsete kui ka empiiriliste artiklite vormis, tuues esile poliitilisi ja juhtimisalaseid soovitusi. 2024. aasta lõpus näeme, mis sellest välja tuleb."

7. juunil 2024 toimunud labor tõi TalTechi Mektorysse üle 30 doktorandi ja järeldoktori üle kogu maailma. Teadlased, kelle uurimishuvid kattuvad esitatud teemadega nagu jätkusuutlikkus, digitaliseerimine ja ärisektor, olid valmis pühendama suure osa oma suvest publikatsioonide tekstidega töötamisele. Toimetuskolleegium (W. Gerstlberger, G. Prause, M. Herzog, U. Norbisrath, H. Kitzmann, M. Robischon, T. Hoffmann) toetab protsessi juhendamise, tagasiside ja nõustamisega.

Erilised tänud Balti-Saksa ülikoolide kontaktbüroole, mida toetab Saksa Akadeemiline Vahetusteenistus (DAAD) Saksamaa Liitvabariigi Välisministeeriumi rahalise toetusega.

The Junior Researcher LAB on Digital and Sustainable Transformation project brings together well-known German and Estonian institutions and scientists to discuss future research and exchange activities with young researchers (PhD students, junior researchers, and postdoctoral researchers). The aim of this binational discussion is to produce a joint book.

The project coordinators, Wolfgang Gerstlberger and Gunnar Prause, highlighted, "The ongoing sustainable transformation is changing the economy and is related to multiple digital and sustainable challenges. To boost interdisciplinary and international young researchers’ collaboration, the aim of the project is to investigate these and related topics in the form of both conceptual and empirical papers, highlighting policy and managerial recommendations. We will see at the end of 2024 what will come out of it."

The June 7th, 2024 lab brought more than 30 interested PhD and postdoctoral researchers from all over the world to TalTech Mektory. These researchers, whose interests intersect with the proposed themes of sustainability, digitalization, and the business sector, were ready to invest a significant part of their summer working on the publication texts. The editorial board (W. Gerstlberger, G. Prause, M. Herzog, U. Norbisrath, H. Kitzmann, M. Robischon, T. Hoffmann) will support the process through supervision, feedback, and assistance.
