Mis on Proctorio?

Proctorio on USA ettevõte, kes pakub online eksamineeritavate identiteedi tuvastamist ning algoritmidel põhinevat eksami läbiviimise kontrolli. Kontrolli viiakse läbi eksamineeritava arvutis veebikaamera, mikrofoni ning arvuti kasutamist reaalajas analüüsides.

Üheks Proctorio tugevuseks muu hulgas on Moodle liides, mis võimaldab nii õppejõul kui eksamineeritaval viia läbi kogu tegevust harjumuspäraselt Moodle keskkonnas ilma, et peaks mõnes kolmandas portaalis ennast tuvastama või teste haldama.

Kõik eksamineeritava ja tema poolt kasutataud arvuti jälgimisega seotud tegevused toimuvad AINULT selles vahemikus, mis on "Alusta testi" ning "Lõpeta test" vahel. Muul ajal mitte midagi ei salvestata.

Lisaks näeb kogu eksami jooksul salvestatud ainult Moodle kursuse õppejõud.

Proctorio salvestisi või isikuandmeid ei näe. Süsteemi ei saa kahjuks seadistada nii, et testide tulemused/analüütika automaatselt ära kustuks, siin on mõtlemise koht, kas või kuidas veenduda, et kõik eksamineeritavaid puudutavad andmed oleks kustutatud peale pretensioonide esitamise perioodi lõppu. Praegu ainuke meetod seda teha on kustutada test, millele on proktooring lisatud.

Proctorio TalTechis

TalTech Moodle on liidestatud Proctorioga, mis võimaldab väga lihtsalt lisada olemasolevale Moodle testile kogu teenuse funktsionaalsust.

Proctorio abil eksami tegemiseks pole vaja seda teenust eraldi ülikoolist tellida (ülikoolil on aastased litsentsid, nt 80 tudengi samaaegse eksami jaoks on litsentsid olemas, neid ei pea eraldi ostma)

Kehtiv leping TalTech ning Proctorio vahel on täna Enterprise-tüüpi. See tähendab, et meil on võimalik osta tudengitele aastaseid litsentse alates 15€ tk, mille abil saab läbi viia piiramatul hulgal eksamineerimisi Proctorio abil.

Sisseastumistestide läbiviimiseks on Proctorioga eraldi kokkulepe, et saame kasutada ka pay-as-you-go mudelit ning osta ühekordseid eksamineeritav/eksam litsentse 5€ tk. See kokkulepe sai sõlmitud eeldusel, et kõik ülikooli õppima asuma soovijad sisseastumistesti ikkagi ei pruugi läbida, ning nende eest pole ülikoolil otstarbekas tasuda aastase litsentsi hinda.

Eksamineerimise maksumuse finantseerimine on testimise perioodil õppekavade/kavajuhtide vastutus.

Proctorio liidestust Moodle'i kursusele aitab teha Silver Abozenko.

Kuna kogu tegevustik hõlmab eneses mitut erinevat etappi, siis on need jaotatud parema jälgitavuse huvides eraldi lehtedele.

• Enne testi sisaldab eneses õppejõu tegevusi, saamaks enda test või eksam Proctorioga kaetud
• Testi tegemise ajal on pigem tudengi vaade, mida täiendavalt talt oodatakse enne testi tegemist
• Testi tegemise järgselt tutvustab analüütikat, mis avaneb õppejõule, kui tudeng(id) on testi lõpetanud.

TalTech is in the process of testing the Proctorio monitoring software. If the faculty decides to fund the use of automated monitoring software, only Proctorio software, which is available as an external tool in TalTech Moodle, may be used.

Proctorio is a remote proctoring service software that works within your web browser to monitor test takers for suspicious behaviour. Monitoring is performed by real-time analysis of the webcam, microphone, and computer use on the examinee's computer.

Proctorio helps to identify the person taking the exam and this identification process can be monitored for each person. In addition, it helps to reduce the possibility that the exam is taken by several people together.

One of Proctorio's advantages is its integration with Moodle, which allows one to carry out all the activities in the already familiar Moodle environment. All activities related to the monitoring of the examinee and the computer used by him/her take place only in the time range between the "Start test" and "End test". Nothing is saved at other times. Only the educator associated with the Moodle course can see Proctorio recordings.

Proctorio will not see any recordings or personal information. Unfortunately, the system cannot be configured to automatically delete test results/analytics, so it's up to the educator to make sure that all data about the examinees is deleted after the end of the claim period. Currently, the only way to do this is to delete the test to which proctoring has been added.

TalTech Moodle is interfaced with Proctorio, which makes it very easy to add all the functionality of the service to an existing Moodle test. The current agreement between TalTech and Proctorio is a pay-as-you-go model and we can buy one-time exam licenses (5€ per exam attempt). 

During the test period, financing the cost of the examination is the responsibility of the curricula/program managers.

Prerequisites for using Proctorio are Google Chrome on your computer and the installation of the Proctorio plug-in. Otherwise, both the student and the educator will see the following warning:
